run free and strongStrong to the Core is a private group of runners and other athletes who want to take their fitness to another level through daily strength exercises, stretching, bonus workouts, speed work, and weekly running drills.

Each month we have a new 30 Day Challenge that focuses on different areas of our body that we can strengthen to improve our overall fitness and achieve our running goals. Group benefits include daily workouts, weekly running drills (done on your own schedule), daily bonus workouts for those who want to do more than the minimum, nutrition advice, motivation, accountability, and support.

While the group is primarily focused on runners, everyone can benefit from daily motivation to get up, get moving, and get stronger!

Short Bio: Hi! I’m Amy Magdalein and I am a RRCA Certified Running Coach. I’ve been running for 7 years completing 5 Marathons, 30+ Half Marathons, and tons of shorter distance races. This sport has changed my life in so many positive ways that I wanted to share my passion with others and help them achieve their goals. Running is my first love but I know that to be better at the sport…I must also work on strength and flexibility.

About Our Challenge: Our arms, core, legs, willpower, and determination are what propels us when we are tired and hurting… and we must take time to strengthen these parts of us to cross the finish line strong and healthy. Join us and find out what you are made of!

I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for support, friends, or accountability, I have learned so much already, my questions are answered no matter how silly, and I’ve seen improvements in my running after one week. I have never felt more at home than with this group of amazing people!!
