January 2017: “How To” Tuesday Hips & Butt

We know our hips and glutes are important…so one of our leg days is focusing in that area. Most of these exercises should be familiar to you but take a look at the videos to remind yourself of the current form.

Donkey Kicks + Fire Hydrant: You can do these moves together as one to make it a compound exercise or you can do them one at time. Whatever works best for you.


Butt Lift Bridge: Tone and strengthen your glutes with the Butt Lift Bridge. Lie on the floor on your back with your knees bent. Inhale. Push with your heels, lift your hips off the floor and squeeze your glutes muscles while exhaling.


Clams: Great for hip strength! Remember to do sets for both sides.
